The milestone Season 10 of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) promises to revolutionize women’s cricket, featuring an expanded structure and marquee matches in world-class stadiums.

The season kicks off on Sunday, October 27, with a triple-header headlined by a rematch of the WBBL-09 Final between defending champions Adelaide Strikers and Brisbane Heat at Adelaide Oval. Following this, the Melbourne Renegades will face the Sydney Sixers, and the Perth Scorchers will take on the Melbourne Stars at the WACA Ground. The action continues the next day with Hobart Hurricanes hosting Sydney Thunder at Blundstone Arena.

The Gabba has returned to WBBL for the first time since WBBL-04 while Drummoyne Oval is named as new home ground for Sydney Thunder from WBBL 10. The regular season concludes on Sunday, November 24, followed by the three-match Finals series. The competition will culminate with The Final on Sunday, December 1, hosted by the team that finishes top of the table. With an optimized 43-game structure, including 40 regular season games and three Finals, WBBL-10 is set to captivate audiences and elevate women's cricket to new heights.

Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s General Manager, Big Bash Leagues, said: "The WBBL-10 schedule is the perfect platform to celebrate our growth and forge a new era for the world’s best cricket league for women. By optimising the season to 43 games, we will deliver fans more marquee matches in big stadiums, an improved broadcast footprint and a more even spread of matches throughout the competition."

“Additionally, the launch of our WBBL-10 icon solidifies this season’s status as a historic milestone for both our competition and the women’s game globally. We thank them for their support,” Dobson concluded.
