Hosts Australia Women (AUS-W) will take on England Women (ENG-W) in the second T20I of the Women’s Ashes 2025, to be played at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, on Thursday, January 23. After winning the ODI series by 3-0, Australia have commenced the T20I series on a similar note. They beat England in the first T20I at the Sydney Cricket Ground by 57 runs and a win in the upcoming game will seal the deal for them.

On the other hand, England Women have been struggling to fetch a win in the series yet. They failed to scale the challenging target of 199 runs in the first T20I and were bundled up for just 16 runs. They will be hoping for a win in the upcoming game to keep the T20I series alive and turn the third and final game at the Adelaide Oval, into a decider.

Pitch Report

The Manuka Oval pitch offers good assistance for the batters and they will have an upper hand in the game. But, the deck offers movement for the pacers early on in the innings. The bowlers can leverage the even pace and bounce to trick the batters by taking pace off the ball.
