India have suffered back-to-back defeats to Australia in the three-match ODI series. They lost the opening game by five wickets, while in the second, the hosts batted brilliantly to post a massive 371 before restricting the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side to 249, winning the game by 122 runs. There are plenty of areas that the team needs to address ahead of the third ODI as nothing has worked for the visitors so far.
On the other hand, the hosts have been brilliant with both bat and ball so far. In the last game, Phoebe Litchfield gave a perfect start to her team, scoring 60 while her opening partner Georgia Voll slammed a century (101 off 87). Senior all-rounder Ellyse Perry was also in phenomenal form as she batted with intent and smacked 105 runs off 70 deliveries. Keeper-batter Beth Mooney kept the momentum going, scoring a half-century.
For India, Saima Thakor picked up three wickets but the bowlers failed to contain the flow of runs and have plenty of room for improvement in the upcoming game. Even with the bat, seniors Harmanpreet and Smriti Mandhana have not been able to fire and that has put more pressure on the rest of the side.

Pitch Report
The surface at the WACA ground usually favours the bowlers. After the initial few overs, the batters are expected to enjoy but if bowlers pick the right line and length, the batters could be in trouble. Bowling first will be ideal.
