Bangladesh and New Zealand are all set to face off in the second Test of their ongoing series. Both sides will take centre stage at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on December 6. The game could be the series decider for Bangladesh, as the side won the first Test of the series, and they will look to register yet another win and clinch the series.

New Zealand, on the other hand, will look to learn from their previous showing and clinch a win in the second Test. The team will hope for a win and end the series with a tie.

The first Test of the series saw Bangladesh register a brilliant 150-run victory against the Black Caps. Posting 310 runs in the first innings, Bangladesh limited New Zealand to a total of 317 runs, followed it up by scoring 338 runs, and gave them a target of 332 runs, limiting the visitors to a total of 181 runs in the second innings. Bangladesh won the first Test.

Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Pitch Report

The surface at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium is expected to be quite slow. With the spinners getting purchase with the bowl, they will be keen on making a significant impact, and it could be interesting to see how the pitch turns out as time goes by.
