Bangladesh vs South Africa Match Preview, 2nd Test
South Africa registered a win in the first Test of the series.
Bangladesh and South Africa are all set to continue their ongoing Test series at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram, from Tuesday, October 29.
The first Test of the series at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, did not go as planned for Bangladesh as South Africa took registered a convincing win to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Bangladesh come into bat first and managed only a paltry 106 runs in the first innings. In response, the Proteas scored 308 to take a healthy lead.
Bangladesh had a much-improved performance in the second innings, as they amassed 307 on the back of a 97-run knock by Mehidy Hasan Miraz. However, they could only set a 106-run target, which was too meagre for the visitors to chase down, who eventually did it with seven wickets in hands.
