The side followed it up by enduring yet another crushing six-wicket loss against arch-rivals India. Their early exit from an ICC event on home soil has disappointed fans and experts alike.
Similarly, Bangladesh struggled with the bat throughout the tournament. Their campaign started with a six-wicket defeat against the Men in Blue, followed by a five-wicket loss to Kiwis. The underwhelming performances have put the senior players on the hot seat, with questions over their future in ICC tournaments.
