New Zealand (NZ) and South Africa (SA) are all set to look forward to the highly anticipated game in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as they face off against each other in the second semifinal match of the tournament.

The game is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 05, at the Gaddafi Cricket Stadium in Lahore, and the battle undoubtedly promises to be a thrilling contest as both are gearing up for the knockout stage.

South Africa have been in exceptional form, with two wins and one no-result in the campaign. They showcased an assertive performance in their last group stage game against England, securing a commanding 7-wicket win. Chasing a humble target of 180, they comfortably made it to the finish line in just 29.1 overs.

In the meantime, New Zealand faced their first loss of the tournament in an exciting contest against India. In a low-scoring encounter, their batting unit hesitated while chasing a target of 250, eventually getting bowled out for 205 in 45.3 overs, resulting in a 44-run defeat.
