Duleep Trophy 2024, India A vs India C: Match Preview, Playing 11, Where to Watch on TV & Live Streaming Details

The third round of the prestigious Duleep Trophy 2024 will witness India A locking horns with India C in the sixth match of the event at the Rural Development Trust Stadium, Anantapur, in Andhra Pradesh starting Thursday, September 19.

India A after losing the first game of the competition have gone back to winning ways as they defeated India D in their previous encounter at the same ground. Under Mayank Agarwal's captaincy, the side flourished in the batting department, especially in the second innings with four players scoring more than 50 runs, including two of them going on to score big hundreds.

The side after being asked to bat first put on 290 runs on the board, with the help of Shams Mulani's 89 and Tanush Kotian's 53-run knock. Courtesy of Khaleel Ahmed and Aaqib Khan's brilliant effort with the ball, India A dismantled the opposition to just 183 taking a 107-run lead. The second innings just belonged to India A batters as they declared the innings at the score 380/3 and handed a 487-run target. Mulani's brilliant bowling effort not only earned him the Player of the Match but also gave his side the first win of the competition.

On the other hand, Ruturaj Gaikwad's India C are having an outstanding run in the tournament so far having won their opening game and drawing their previous game to Abhimanyu Easwaran's India B. In their last game, Gaikwad & Co. showcased a batting masterclass. The side's first-inning score of 525 was backed by Ishan Kishan's century, along with Gaikwad, Manav Suthar, and Baba Indrajith's half-centuries, as well as notable contributions from other batters.

India C's bowling has been at its best, as Anshul Kamboj scalped eight wickets and destroyed India B's batting line-up. Though it looked as if the game was in India C's hand the opposition was not letting the game slip away from their hand, eventually finishing in a draw.
