Hosts India (IND) will take on Bangladesh (BAN) in the second T20I of the series, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, in New Delhi, on Wednesday, October 9. The Men in Blue dominated the visitors in the first game, winning it comfortably by seven wickets and 49 balls to spare. It was a clinical team performance by the home side as they managed to restrict the Bangladesh batters to a low score and chased it down with sheer ease.
On the contrary, the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side faced a batting collapse in the first innings and failed to put enough runs on the board. The visiting skipper also expected that later in the game with a low score to defend it became hard for the bowlers to restrict the Indian batters on a batting track. With the second game scheduled to be played in the national capital, the visitors will have to devise a better plan and acquire adequate runs in the first six overs of the game.
