IPL 2025, Match 13: Lucknow Super Giants vs Punjab Kings Match Preview

The Ekana Stadium will be hosting its first game of the season which will be played between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings on Tuesday, April 1. This will be a perfect battle between two skippers who have sizeable leadership experience and will now go up against each other in the upcoming match.

The Rishabh Pant-led LSG side were involved in two high-scoring chases where in the first instance they failed to defend the total against the Capitals and in the second instance they managed to chase down the total with ease against last season’s finalists Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). They will be hoping to repeat the same performance against PBKS in their first home game.

PBKS have already impressed the fans in the first game of the season against the Gujarat Titans (GT). This will be the second game they will be playing in IPL 2025 and this time their new skipper Shreyas Iyer will be up against his former Delhi Capitals teammate as well with whom he has played for seven years in the tournament.
