In the ongoing season, it has been a dry one with some turn and grip for the spinners. Batters have to make the most of the powerplay overs when the ball comes nicely onto the bat.
With the progression of the innings, it tends to get difficult to bat on. With no presence of dew, batting first might not be a bad idea. Batters have to rotate the strike well and hit odd boundaries in the middle overs. Bowlers need to operate in great line and lengths.
