NZ vs PAK: Head to Head, Playing XI, Preview, Where to Watch on TV, Online, and Live Streaming Details
Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets earlier in the tournament.
After suffering defeat at the hands of Pakistan in their first match of the series, New Zealand made a terrific comeback to win their second match against Bangladesh by 8 wickets. Pakistan on the other hand, are still undefeated and will take the field on Tuesday with the hope of qualifying for the finals of the tri-series.
Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are in tremendous form going into the match but it’s their middle order that’s a matter of concern at the moment. Shadab Khan played well in the previous match against the Black Caps but inconsistency has been a major factor. With the ball, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Wasim Jr. were at their best in the previous match. In the absence of their speedster Shaheen Afridi, the pacers have taken a lot of responsibility and are delivering on the big stage.
Coming to New Zealand, the team had no problem whatsoever to defeat Bangladesh in the previous match. Devon Conway had a great game with the bat as the opener smashed 70* off 51 deliveries. Glenn Philips played a brilliant cameo of 23* of 9 balls. Even though the team registered a comfortable victory, Kane Williamson’s form and strike rate will be an issue for the Kiwis going into the T20 World Cup. From the bowler’s point of view, there’s not a lot to change for them.
Pitch Conditions
The ball will nicely come onto the bat as 180+ will be a good score on the pitch. Batting second will be ideal after winning the toss.
