Zimbabwe and Ireland will be locking horns in the fourth match of the ICC T20 World Cup  2022 at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Monday, October 17. Both teams are placed in Group B and would be hoping to kick-start their respective campaigns on a winning note. 

Zimbabwe have not been able to impress much in their T20 World Cup appearances so far, but would now be hoping for a revival in their fortunes starting the First Round.

They are heading into the marquee tournament with a lot of confidence, having beaten Bangladesh in a T20I series not too long ago. Moreover, Zimbabwe also have some players, who possess the ability to change the complexion of the game in the shortest format.

Ireland, on the other hand, are making their seventh appearance at the T20 World Cup and they just like Zimbabwe would be hoping to create a good first impression by winning their opening encounter. Even though the Irish team will be missing one of their biggest match winners in Kevin O' Brien dearly, the captaincy reins have been handed over to the seasoned all-rounder Andrew Balbirnie. 

Although Craig Young also misses out due to an injury, Ireland have enough depth to challenge Zimbabwe in this contest and they will come out all guns blazing.
