Zimbabwe and Netherlands will take on each other in Match 34 of the 2022 T20 World Cup, at the Adelaide Oval on November 2 (Wednesday). Zimbabwe have three points from three games in Group 2 and are placed in the fourth place. The Netherlands have lost all three fixtures in the second round and have already been eliminated.

Zimbabwe could not close out the game against Bangladesh in the final stage. Further, the m,iddle-order batting has been a problem for the Zimbabwe side as their star batter Sikandar Raza has failed to get going with the bat in Super 12 matches.

The Netherlands, on the other hand, have failed to get going in the competition so far. The Dutch side will need to perform well in the upcoming game and try to damage Zimbabwe's chances to qualify for the next stage.

Pitch and conditions

A high-scoring encounter might be on the cards as the Adelaide wicket offers very less assistance to the bowlers. The ball will come nicely onto the bat and bowlers will need to vary their lines and lengths in order to get successful. The skipper winning the toss might want to have a bowl first.

Probable playing XIs

Zimbabwe

Senior batter Sean Williams has looked in excellent touch with the bat. He recently stroked a fifty against Bangladesh, but could not win the game for his side. Williams will be looking to continue his good form with the bat.

Probable XI: Wesley Madhevere, Craig Ervine, Milton Shumba, Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza, Regis Chakabva, Ryan Burl, Brad Evans, Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, Tendai Chatara

Netherlands

Opening batter Stephan Myburgh is expected to play a crucial role for his side in the upcoming game. Myburgh has not been able to get going in the tournament so far, but the good batting conditions in Adelaide might bring the best out of him.

Probable XI: Stephan Myburgh, Max ODowd, Vikarmjit SIngh, Tom Cooper, Colin Ackerman, Scott Edwards, van der Merwe, Tim Pringle, van Beek, Frad Klaaseen, van Meekeran, Brandon Glover
