Zimbabwe vs India Match Preview, 3rd T20I
The five-match series is intriguingly poised at 1-1.
India lock horns with Zimbabwe in the third T20I of the five-match series at the Harare Sports Club on Wednesday, July 10. The series is intriguingly poised at 1-1 and both teams would want to go ahead by picking up a win on Wednesday.
The series started with Zimbabwe pulling off an upset as they bowled India out for 102 while defending a target of 116. Sikandar Raza pulled the string in the second innings as he was immaculate with his captaincy. However, the Men in Blue bounced back strongly in the second T20I, amassing a total of 234/2 on the back of Abhishek Sharma's maiden international century and Ruturaj Gaikwad's stroke-filled half-century. Rinku Singh also played a fine hand, scoring an unbeaten 48 off 22 balls. In reply, Zimbabwe were rolled over for 134 and Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan starred with three-fors.

For India, their captain Shubman Gill's form has been a massive concern in T20Is. He has registered scores of 31 and 2 in the first two games and would be eager to come good on Wednesday. On the bowling front, Mukesh has bowled well and given the visitors wickets upfront. The Zimbabwean batters have had difficulties picking Ravi Bishnoi and the leg-spinner has conceded only 24 runs and picked up six wickets from eight overs in the two games.
For Zimbabwe, Wesley Madhevere will look to play the role of an anchor. Meanwhile, Brian Bennett has looked in fine touch in the couple of knocks he has played. Sikandar Raza failed in the first two games with the willow and he will want to get back among the runs on Wednesday. Blessing Muzarabani has been the best bowler across the first couple of games for the hosts and would hope to cause some more problems for the Indian batters in the upcoming contest.

ZIM vs IND Probable Playing XIs
Zimbabwe:
Innocent Kaia has endured a couple of failures in the first two games, being castled on both occasions by Mukesh. He could make way for the left-handed Tadiwanashe Marumani. The rest of the side could remain the same.
Predicted XI
Wessly Madhevere, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Brian Bennett, Sikandar Raza (c), Dion Myers, Jonathan Campbell, Clive Madande (wk), Luke Jongwe, Wellington Masakadza, Blessing Muzarabani, Tendai Chatara
India:
The T20 World Cup-winning trio of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, and Shivam Dube have linked up with the squad. This is set to cause a selection headache for interim head coach VVS Laxman. Yashasvi could get into the side in place of Riyan Parag or Sai Sudharsan and the experienced Sanju could replace Dhruv Jurel. Meanwhile, Shivam Dube might have to wait for his chance after failing to impress during the T20 World Cup apart from an important cameo in the final.
Predicted XI
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill (c), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Riyan Parag, Sanju Samson (wk), Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Ravi Bishnoi
