Gujarat vs Kerala, Semi-final 1, Ahmedabad
On Day 3 of the ongoing first semifinal of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25, Kerala finished with a massive score of 457 runs, thanks to Mohammed Azharuddeen’s impeccable unbeaten 177* runs knock. Trailing behind a huge total, Gujarat too utilized the batting-friendly conditions very well. Their openers Priyank Panchal and Aarya Desai, put up a solid 131-run stand for the first wicket before Desai got dismissed by Nedumankuzhy Basil.
From there on, Kerala could not crawl back with a wicket as Manan Hingrajia paired up with Panchal to form another notable partnership. The duo have stitched an unbeaten stand of 91 runs before the stumps on Day 3. Meanwhile, Panchal brought up his another domestic century as he will commence batting on Day 4 at 117*. On the other hand, Hingarajia has dug his base with an unbeaten 30-run knock.

Vidarbha vs Mumbai, Semi-final 2, Nagpur
Mumbai commenced Day 3 on 188/7, centurion Akash Anand fell early and Shardul Thakur tried hard to show resistance with his 33 runs knock. Vidarbha managed to finish the tail-enders quickly and Mumbai were bundled up for just 270 runs, as Parth Rekhade picked a four-fer. With a 113-run lead, Vidarbha looked on track for a big total. But Mumbai's bowlers made a remarkable comeback and destroyed their top order.
With three down, Yash Rathod and Akshay Wadkar stitched a crucial stand of 91-run stand. The duo are currently unbeaten on 59* and 31* runs respectively. For Mumbai, Shams Mulani picked two wickets, whereas Shardul Thakur and Kotian picked one wicket each. Vidarbha finished Day 3 on 147/4 and a lead of 260 runs.
