After winning the first ODI by six wickets, Bangladesh are high on confidence with a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. The two teams will now faceoff in the second ODI, set to be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram, on March 15.

For the hosts, each one in Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed and Tanzim Sakib picked three wickets apiece.
In response, Najmul Hossain Shanto played captain’s innings as he smashed an unbeaten 122 off 129 balls and built a magnificent unbeaten partnership of 165 with Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored an unbeaten 73 off 84. Courtesy of their knocks, Bangladesh chased down the 256-run target comfortably in 44.4 overs.
