Match 2 of Champions Trophy 2025 will see India (IND) take on Bangladesh (BAN). The match will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, just like all of India's other matches in the tournament, owing to India's refusal to travel to Pakistan for the marquee event.
India are in encouraging from entering this tournament, having whitewashed England 3-0 at home. But India hadn't played any ODIs for more than 6 months before that series. Despite these factors, India will start as favourites because of their team strength and the fact that they are playing all their matches, including the final if they get that far, at one venue.
Bangladesh on the other hand do not have much to talk about in terms of recent form. The "Tigers" are yet to play an ODI in 2025 and their most recent ODI series was a whitewash against West Indies - a team that failed to qualify for the Champions Trophy. And their last ODI series before that was a loss to Afghanistan in the UAE.
India will also be encouraged by the fact that they have never lost an ODI at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Of the six they have played, they have won five and tied one.

Like with all places in the UAE, chasing is much easier and possibly even the preferred option in Dubai. The toss could go a very long way in deciding the outcome of the match.
