DP World ILT20 2025: DC vs SW, Match 23 - Stats preview of players' records and approaching milestones

Match 23 of the ongoing DP World ILT20 2025, will witness the second-placed Dubai Capitals (DC) clashing with the bottom-placed, Sharjah Warriorz (SW). The two teams are coming into this encounter with contrasting fortunes. The upcoming fixture will be played on Tuesday, January 28, in Dubai.

Notably, Capitals have won three matches in a row while the Warriorz have lost four in a row. Both teams will want to win and improve their uncertain position in the competition on a volatile points table. 

Dubai Capitals chased down the highest total in DP World ILT20 history against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in their last match. Charith Asalanka played a blinder to steer ADKR past the 200 mark, but DC seemed unfazed. Shai Hope anchored the chase in his usual style but the day belonged to Gulbadin Naib who responded with a blitz of his own. Dasun Shanaka then provided the finishing touches to take DC home on the penultimate ball. 

Sharjah Warriorz had a tough time in their last match going down to Gulf Giants. All the batsmen other than Jason Roy had a rough time and the Warriorz put up a below-par total. Tom Alsop then anchored the chase with just enough support from his teammates to take GG home.
