DP World ILT20 2025: SWR vs ADKR, Match 25 - Stats preview of players' records and approaching milestones

Sharjah Warriorz and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, two teams with the same number of points but different net run rates, will come face-to-face in Match No. 25 of DP World ILT20 2025. 

Sharjah Warriorz broke a four-match losing streak to register their third win, defeating Dubai Capitals comfortably in their last game. An all-round bowling effort led by Adam Zampa kept the Capitals down to a below par 131/9 before Tom Kohler-Cadmore made an unbeaten fifty (54 off 32) in the chase, while Johnson Charles stole the show with his swashbuckling 71 from just 33 to finally give the Warriorz a much-needed win. 

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders' most recent game was also against the Capitals, but they had to endure a loss in a match that went down to the wire. Charith Asalanka (74 off 38) powered the Knight Riders past 200 with enough support from all other batsmen. On a helpful surface for batting, Shai Hope (74* off 53) and Gulbadin Naib (80 off 47) responded with quickfire fifties while Dasun Shanka (17* off 8) applied the finishing touches to let the Capitals complete the highest successful chase in DP World ILT20 history. 

In the reverse fixture, the Knight Riders had emerged victorious rather comfortably despite struggling with the batt and putting on a par 159/5. But none of that mattered as Jason Holder and David Willey wrecked the Warriorz, sharing seven wickets between them.

From the Warriorz' perspective, this game is the perfect oppoortunity to settle scores and put Knight Riders' season in jeopardy as well.
