DP World ILT20 2025: SW vs DV, Match 18 - Stats preview of players' records and approaching milestones

Table toppers Desert Vipers (DV) will look to keep their momentum running against Sharjah Warriorz (SW), the same opposition against whom they got back to winning ways. In Match 18 of the ILT20 2025 (International League T20). 

DV had their four-match winning streak broken by the Dubai Capitals before registering a win against Sharjah Warriorz. That match was the last respective match for both teams where Desert Vipers fully blew the Warriorz away. 

Mohammad Amir took three wickets in the powerplay to leave SW tottering at 15/3 at the end of the third over. Ace legspinner Wanindu Hasaranga took three more to induce a middle order collapse. Impact Player Jason Roy made an unbeaten 34*, but none of his teammates stuck around as eight Warriorz players were dismissed for single figures and the team was shot out for 95. 

Fakhar Zaman made an unbeaten 71* from just 39 balls, to take the Vipers home by a 10-wicket margin. Notably, this was also the first time that a team had managed a 10-wicket win in the ILT20 history. Sharjah Warriorz have now lost 2 matches in a row and will look to arrest the slide before it grows steeper.
