ILT20 2025: DC vs DV, Match 13 - Stats preview of players' records and approaching milestones

Currently, the table-toppers Desert Vipers (DV) will take on the last-placed Dubai Capitals (DC) in Match 13 of the ILT20 2025 (International League T20). Notably, Vipers have enjoyed an unbeaten run so far by winning four matches in a row in the tournament. 

Desert Vipers batted first against ADKR and rode on a fifty from Alex Hales and 49 from Dan Lawrence to post an imposing 193/5. Joe Clarke made 55 to keep ADKR afloat, but Nathan Sowter and Wanindu Hasaranga triggered a collapse that saw Abu Dhabi Knight Riders lose wickets regularly and eventually peter out in the chase. 

On the contrary, Capitals won their season opener but lost three matches in a row to find their season staring down the barrel. Dubai had an ordinary time with the bat in their encounter against Gulf Giants. Most of DC's batters got starts but none of them capitalized on it.

As a result, they managed to finish with an average-looking 165 runs. Adam Lyth gave the Giants a start, but they soon collapsed to 88/4 from where Gerhard Erasmus' 50 and Shimron Hetmyer's 41 - both unbeaten - sent the Capitals to a third straight loss. DV will be looking to keep the unbeaten run going while DC will try to get one more win to move out of last place on the points table.
