India vs Australia, 4th T20I Stats Review: Axar's brilliance, Wade's feat and other stats

In a seesaw battle in Raipur, India clinched a 20-run victory over Australia, powered by a brilliant bowling performance from Axar Patel and an economical spell from Ravi Bishnoi.
Australi won the toss and elected to field first in a high-scoring encounter against India. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad provided a solid start for India, putting together a 50-run partnership. However, Jaiswal was dismissed shortly after for 37 runs and India lost wickets in quick succession, slipping to 63 for 3. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rinku Singh then steadied the innings but Gaikwad was dismissed for 32.
Jitesh Sharma and Rinku Singh added 56 runs for the fifth wicket, but Ben Dwarshuis broke the partnership by dismissing Sharma for 35 runs. Dwarshuis then picked up Axar Patel for a duck in the same over, and Rinku Singh was soon dismissed for 46 as Australia restricted India to 174/9. Dwarshuis was the star bowler for Australia, taking 3/40 runs in his four overs.
Chasing 175, Australia got off to a decent start, however, Bishnoi provided the breakthrough by dismissing Josh Philippe for eight runs. Travis Head followed soon after, scoring 31 runs. Australia kept losing wickets at regular intervals, with only Matthew Wade (36) and Matthew Short (22) putting up some resistance. India restricted Australia to 154 for 7 in 20 overs and won the match by 20 runs.Axar Patel, who delivered an outstanding bowling performance, was deservedly awarded the Player of the Match award. With this victory, India sealed the series 3-1, showcasing their all-round dominance throughout the competition.

The best bowling figure is 4/11 by Ravichandran Ashwin in 2014 in Mirpur and second best was 4/36 by Krunal Pandya in Sydney.
13-Axar Patel has claimed 13 wickets against Australia in T20Is, the second most by an Indian bowler behind Jasprit Bumrah's 16.
