After facing a defeat in the opening Test in Hyderabad, Rohit Sharma and his men returned to winning ways as they defeated Ben Stokes and his English side by a 106-run margin in the second match in Visakhapatnam. The third of the five-match series is now slated to take place on Thursday, February 15 at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. The mouth-watering series between the two giants of world cricket is nice and evenly poised now.

Talking in detail about the Visakhapatnam Test, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Jasprit Bumrah were the standout performers for the hosts. Jaiswal, the young left-handed opening batter struck a magnificent 209 off 290 which included 19 fours and seven maximums in the first innings. Experienced campaigner and lethal seam bowler Bumrah then stole the show with the ball as he picked up solid figures of 6/45 in 15.5 overs.

With his place being in danger for some time now, Gill came up with a valuable century in the second innings. Batting at No. 3 the right-handed batter hit 104 off 147 with the help of 11 fours and two sixes. Bumrah was again amongst the wickets as he delivered a spell of 3/46 in 17.2 overs with India winning the encounter.
