India vs England Fourth Test Day 3 Stats Review: Ashwin's fifer, Jurel's gritty knock and other stats

Dhruv Jurel's maiden fifty and dominant Indian spinners led to England's collapse on Day 3 of the fourth Test between India and England. Ravichandran Ashwin claimed a five-wicket haul, while Kuldeep Yadav took four and Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with one as England were bundled out for a mere 145. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal ended the day unbeaten at the crease with India needing 152 more for victory.

Early in the day, Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav added a promising 76-run partnership for the eighth wicket, broken by James Anderson who dismissed Kuldeep for 28 runs. Jurel continued to bat and registered his maiden fifty but was eventually dismissed for 90 by Tom Hartley. India were eventually bowled out for 307.

England began their second innings with a lead of 46 runs. However, their batters underperformed, except for Zak Crawley who scored 60 and Jonny Bairstow who managed 30. England batters were bowled out by Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav, the duo shared nine wickets between them. The visitors were eventually dismissed for 145, giving India a target of 192 runs. India started their second innings with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring 24* and 16* runs respectively. India need 152 runs to win and are currently at 40 with no wickets lost.
