Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will meet the two-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) on April 09 at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

GT have started their second season truly like a champion as Hardik Pandya’s side has played two matches so far and emerged victorious on both occasions. They defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on the opening night of the tournament by five wickets in Ahmedabad before beating Delhi Capitals (DC) by a six-wicket margin in Delhi. With four points and a net run rate of +0.700, they are placed second in the points table.

Meanwhile, KKR started off their season with a loss against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by seven runs (D/L Method) in Mohali. But Nitish Rana’s team roared back as they thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by a big margin of 81 runs at their home ground in Kolkata. With two points and an NRR of +2.056, they are fourth in the table. England international Jason Roy has joined the KKR camp and it will be interesting to see how he finds himself in the final 11.
