Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans (GT) will face David Warner’s Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 44 of IPL 2023 on May 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Titans defeated the Capitals by six wickets when both sides met earlier in the tournament in the reverse fixture in Delhi.

GT are showing why they were crowned champions in their maiden campaign last year as they have begun the 2023 edition also with a bang. They have played eight matches so far with six victories and just two losses. With 12 points and a net run rate of +0.638, they are bossing the table right at the top.

On the other hand, It’s exactly the opposite for the Capitals. They have played eight games so far with just two wins and six defeats. With four points and an NRR of -0.898, they are languishing at rock bottom in the tenth position in the table. (All standings till Match 42). The return in form for all-rounder Mitchell Marsh is a positive sign for DC from their last encounter but they have to be at their best to beat the in-form defending champions at their own den.
