Games are coming moving up rapidly as Delhi Capitals (DC) and Gujarat Titans (GT) square off against each other in Match no.7 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday, April 04, 2023, at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Both sides will meet again in the reverse fixture in Match no.44 on Tuesday, May 02 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

David Warner-led DC side suffered a defeat at the hands of Lucknow Super Giants in their opening encounter. Mark Wood delivered a fiery spell of 5/14 to hand a loss to the Capitals by a margin of 50 runs. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya’s GT began their campaign with a victory over four-time winners Chennai Super Kings on the opening day of the season.

Youngster Shubman Gill made 63 off 36 while Rashid Khan picked up 2/26 (4) as both helped the defending champions to start their second IPL season on a winning note. Though the Titans won, they suffered a massive setback as Kane Williamson got injured and has been ruled out of the current edition.
