Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be returning to their home ground at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru after securing two wins in two away matches in the competition so far. The table-toppers will be hosting the Gujarat Titans

RCB broke a 17-year long streak by finally defeating CSK at Chennai for the first time since 2008. Virat Kohli found it tough to get going, but Phil Salt kept the attack up in the powerplay. Rajat Patidar rode his luck and made the most of his three drops to make a crucial fifty on a difficult pitch. Tim David then lifted the score with his three sixes in the final over.

CSK started as horribly as they could, losing two wickets in an over to Josh Hazlewood and crumpled after the early strikes. Yash Dayal and Liam Livingstone kept the pressure up in the middle overs and Rachin Ravindra surviving the collapse could not amount to much. With too much left to do by the end, MS Dhoni's boundaries in the final over only reduced the margin of victory for RCB to "just" 50 runs.

GT also had a similar time against MI in their last game. In fact, the total that both RCB and GT defended was the exact same. Sai Sudharsan made a brilliant fifty and with support from Jos Buttler and Shubman Gill, took GT to 196. Mohammed Siraj took out both openers and put MI under early pressure. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma got a partnership going, but Prasidh Krishna's economical spell alongside crucial wickets at the death gave GT the win.
