Located in Ahmedabad, this stadium serves as the home ground of Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The venue is now set to host the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches of the IPL 2024 season.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the first qualifier on Tuesday, May 21. KKR topped the league stage points table with 20 points while SRH came second with 17 points. Both teams have put up a dominant performance in the league, promising an intense battle.
KKR and SRH have faced each other 26 times in IPL history. The two-time champions won on 17 occasions, while SRH have managed to win only nine times. Notably, when the two teams met earlier this season, KKR secured a close victory by just four runs at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
