MI vs RCB Stats Preview, Match 20 - Which players will create new records in today's IPL match?

Mumbai Indians (MI) will host Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Match No. 20 of Indian Premier League 2025. MI are eighth on the points table while RCB are second and both the teams are coming off losses in their most recent match. 

MI went down to LSG in Lucknow after letting their chase peter out. Mitchell Marsh went hard and fast in the powerplay, but Hardik Pandya brought MI back into the game. Aiden Markram, Ayush Badoni and David Miller then took LSG to a respectable total despite Pandya's fifer.

LSG then made early inroads, but Naman Dhir and Suryakumar Yadav kept the game alive. After their dismissals, the focus of the match shifted to Tilak Varma's struggles in keeping up with the required rate, and eventually he was retired out. Pandya tried to make it up, but his team eventually fell short by 12 runs.

RCB, too, had to go through a comprehensive loss against GT in their last game. Mohammed Siraj ran his former side into the ground on a slow track and RCB never seemed to recover. Jitesh Sharma, Liam Livingstone and Tim David set RCB on the recovery path but could not.

GT started slow in the chase, but Sai Sudharsan still gave a platform. Jos Buttler and Sherfane Rutherford then exploited it to the fullest extent to take their team to an eight-wicket win.
