After winning all the first four T20 internationals, the in-form New Zealand side will lock horns with strugglers Pakistan for one last time in the series. The fifth and final dead rubber encounter is all set to be played on Sunday, January 21st, 2024, at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. The home side has been dominant with their clinical victories in all the matches as the visitors have looked clueless and out of form completely.

Speaking about the individual performances, explosive right-handed opening batter Finn Allen has been outstanding for the New Zealanders. The 24-year-old youngster has smashed 253 runs at an average of 63.25 and a deadly strike rate of 207.37 with one century and one half-century. Veteran and experienced campaigner Tim Southee is leading the bowling charts as he has picked up the most wickets in the series with eight scalps to his name.

For the visitors, former skipper Babar Azam has been leading the batting department single-handedly. The no. three right-handed player slammed three half-centuries in the opening three fixtures. Babar has 200 runs under his belt at an average of 50.00. Shaheen Afridi and his men will be looking to sign off the tour on a high and avoid the 5-0 whitewash. On the other hand, the Kiwis, who have rested Daryl Mitchell for the final game, would hope to complete the clean sweep by handing the Pakistanis another thrashing.
