New Zealand vs Pakistan, 5th T20I Stats Review: New Zealand's lowest total, Tim Southee's feat, and other stats

Rizwan top-scored with 38 runs off 38 balls, and Zaman contributed 33 runs off 16 balls. Tim Southee, Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, and Ish Sodhi each took two wickets for New Zealand. In reply to Pakistan's 135-run target, Allen and Phillips were the top-scorers for New Zealand with 22 and 26 runs, respectively.

However, the rest of the batsmen failed to make significant contributions, and New Zealand were eventually bowled out for 92 runs in 17.2 overs. Iftikhar Ahmed was Pakistan's standout bowler, taking 3 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs. This victory secured a 4-1 series win for Pakistan, avoiding a whitewash. Iftikhar Ahmed was named Player of the Match for his bowling performance, while Finn Allen was awarded Player of the Series for his 275 runs in five matches.

Ish Sodhi still leads the list with 13 wickets against Australia in 2021, followed by Mitchell Santer with 11 wickets in 2019.
 
92 - New Zealand's 92 all out is the lowest total ever recorded at Hagley Oval in a T20I match, surpassing the previous record of 131 set by Australia in 2021.

92 - New Zealand's 92 all out is the second-lowest total they've ever posted against Pakistan in T20Is.  They were previously skittled out for just 80 at the AMI Stadium, Christchurch, in 2010.
