Rachin Ravindra scored a terrific century while Daryl Mitchell scored a quick-fire 54 to keep New Zealand in the chase as the duo added 96 runs for the third wicket.
Jimmy Neesham down the order kept the chase going with a stunning 39-ball 58 which included 6 boundaries. Adam Zampa chipped in with wickets at regular intervals as he ended his spell on 3/74 in his 10 overs. With 19 runs to get in the final over, Mitchell Starc held his nerve and defended the total, eventually defeating New Zealand by 5 runs.
