Pakistan and Afghanistan are all set to lock horns in Match 4 of the Super 4 round in the Asia Cup 2022 on Wednesday, September 7, at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Talking about the wickets, pacer Junaid Khan leads the chart with three wickets followed by Imad Wasim, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, and Sohail Tanvir, who have all taken two scalps apiece.

Both sides last met in a T20 international last year in the T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai. Afghanistan batted first and posted 147/6 on the board in their allotted 20 overs. Nabi and Gulbadin Naib remained unbeaten on 35 each to take their side to a total of above 145. Imad Wasim was the pick of the Pakistan bowlers for his spell of 2/25 in four overs. In reply, Babar Azam scored 51 while Fakhar Zaman and Asif Ali made 30 and 25 respectively to seal a five-wicket victory for the Men in Green.
