Babar Azam’s Pakistan will begin their World Cup 2023 campaign by locking horns with Scott Edwards’s Netherlands side. The second match of the ongoing marquee tournament is all set to take place on Friday, October 06, 2023, at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The Pakistanis lost both of their warm-up games against Australia and New Zealand, while the Dutch’s clash with India got abandoned due to rain and ended with no result against the Aussies.

The Men in Green are always considered to be one of the most unpredictable teams in world cricket. The 1992 champions enter the showpiece event on the back of the failure to reach the final of the recently-concluded Asia Cup, which the Asian giants India won by defeating Sri Lanka in the summit clash. Speaking about the form, Pakistan would be wary about the form of their openers, Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq.
