Table toppers and unbeaten Delhi Capitals will square off against the third-placed Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Match 24 of the IPL 2025. Notably, both teams have six points, but DC have won all three of their matches, while RCB have won three of their four matches so far.

Both DC and RCB are coming off wins in their previous games. RCB beat MI in a see-sawing thriller at the Wankhede Stadium. Bengaluru pulled off a refreshing change of pace, keeping the attack up despite losing an early wicket. Virat Kohli's fifty and Devdutt Padikkal's start gave the perfect platform for Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma to pop off.

RCB's bowlers then exercised great restraint over MI for more than half the chase. MI needed 123 from the last eight overs, but Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya had other ideas. The two knocks were instrumental in bringing the game as close as they did. Their dismissals at the wrong time meant that RCB opened a door they had only had a foot in until that point. While MI were not technically out of it, Krunal Pandya's three-wicket burst in the last over, took the visitors home.

DC had an easier time beating CSK in Chepauk in their last match. KL Rahul made an excellent fifty in challenging conditions, which gave DC a good enough total. The visiting bowlers then took over and had the home side five down by the 10-over mark. The backend of CSK's innings was marred by controversy, as MS Dhoni and Vijay Shankar played to keep the loss margin as low as possible rather than go for the win.
