Neither team has officially qualified for the Super 8s, but Australia have a foot in the door while Namibia also have some hopes ahead of these two teams' clash at the Sir Viv Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua.

Australia have registered fairly comprehensive wins over both Oman and frenzied arch-rivals England. Australia started strongly with both David Warner and Travis Head getting quickfire thirties before middle order support from skipper Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis had Australia breaching the 200-mark. Jos Buttler and Phil Salt started similarly before Player of the Match Adam Zampa dismissed them both in the space of less than three overs. The two quick wickets blew England's chase apart as Australia went on to a resounding 36-run win.

Having beaten Oman in a Super Over, Namibia proceded to lose to Scotland. In the face of a very good bowling performance from Scotland led by Brad Wheal and Brad Currie, Namibia skipper Gerhard Erasmus didn't find much support for his fifty. Erasmus also returned to put in the best bowling effort for his team but Scotland did not run into much trouble chasing the target down with Richie Berrington and Michael Leask doing enough.

Namibia are not yet out of the tournament, but a loss here will turn things tricky for their qualification to the Super 8s.

Sir Viv Richards Stadium Pitch Report:

The surfaces in the Caribbean are expected to be relatively high scoring compared to New York and other such American surfaces. It is still the second match of the tournament at this stadium, so a game in the 170s can be expected.

Australia vs Namibia Strategies & Match-ups:

The only match so far at this stadium saw Scotland complete a low chase in a very short time. And matches in the West Indies have been helpful to the team batting second. So that is the very apparent and obvious strategy. Australia at the moment do not seem to have any obvious weaknesses and will walk into this game as favourites.

The important match ups for this game are: Rubel Trumpelmann vs Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh vs Gerhard Erasmus, Marcus Stoinis vs David Wiese, Gerhard Earsmus vs Adam Zampa.

X-Factors for Australia vs Namibia:

Australia:

Marcus Stoinis has put in two very solid performances in two matches so far, and Australia will be hoping his good form continues as he contributes in both departments.

Namibia:

Skipper Gerhard Erasmus was Namibia's best player with both bat and ball in their defeat to Scotland. If Namibia want to stage an upset, he will have to come to the forefront again.
