India (IND) will take on Bangladesh (BAN) in Match 47, of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua in the Super Eights stage. Notably, both sides met for a 20-20 game a year ago at the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field, Hangzhou during the Asian Games, where India registered a 9-wicket victory against Bangladesh.
In the ongoing tournament, India are yet to lose a game, and thus, the Men in Blue would like to continue their winning momentum. On the other hand, Bangladesh has lost one match they have played in Super 8. Thus, the Bangla Tigers would like to get back to its winning momentum.
In India's previous fixture, Suryakumar Yadav 53(28) played a magnificent match-winning innings which helped India to post a decent good total of 181. Hardik Pandya 32(24) played superbly and gave excellent support to Suryakumar Yadav as a result they posted a decent total.

Speaking about their bowling, Jasprit Bumrah (4-1-7-3) bowled magnificently which helped India to restrict Afghanistan to just 134. Arshdeep Singh (4-0-36-3) also bowled superbly and gave excellent support to Jasprit Bumrah. India also got amazing support from other bowlers, as a result they restricted Afghanistan to a low total and won the game by 47 runs. Hence, the Indians will be hoping all these will continue their good form.
For Bangladesh, they had a poor outing with a bat in the previous game where skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto (41 off 36) was the top scorer for them, they didn't get good support from other batters as a result Bangladesh had to settle for the score of just 140.
On the bowling front, Rishad Hossain (3-0-23-2) bowled magnificently which helped Bangladesh to apply a little break on Australia where they were looking to chase the target within ten overs at one stage. Mahedi Hasan (4-0-22-0) was economical, but was unable to pick up any wickets. All other bowlers proved to be expensive, and as a result, Australia were 28 runs ahead in the game as per the DLS method when rain came.

The rain didn't stop as a result, Australia won the game as per the DLS method. In total, Bangladesh had a poor outing with both bat and ball in the previous game. Shanto & Co will be hoping all these will continue their good form and good support from their batters and also good support from their bowlers.
