 India's tour of the West Indies will feature five T20Is and three ODIs after a two-match Test series. Both India and the West Indies will play their first Test series in the 2023-25 World Test Championship cycle, starting from July 12, at Windsor Park, in Roseau, St. Dominica. The upcoming Test series will be the 25th between India and the West Indies, with the West Indies winning 12, India winning 10, and two series ending in draws. 

India will be coming into the contest after a heartbreaking loss to Australia in the 2023 World Test Championship final. On the other hand, West Indies will be coming into the contest after their shocking exit from the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers.

Notably, this will be a memorable series for India and the West Indies as they will play their 100th Test match against each other.

Virat Kohli has scored 822 runs against West Indies in Test cricket at an average of 43.26, including two centuries and five half-centuries. Ravichandran Ashwin has taken 60 wickets against West Indies in Test cricket at an average of 21.85 and an economy rate of 3.00. Kraigg Brathwaite has scored 448 runs against India in Test cricket with four fifties.
