Cricketers congratulate Suresh Raina and Priyanka on their second child

Suresh Raina hasn’t had the best of times as far as his career on the cricket field is concerned. He had a knee surgery in Amsterdam and has had to spend a lot of times on the cricket field. It’s almost been a couple of years since he last donned the India jersey. He last played for the Indian team in the tour of England. However, he has had a lot to cheer in his personal life.

Recently, he became father to a baby boy. He posted an adorable picture with wife Priyanka where the latter was holding the new-born baby in her arms. Priyanka and Suresh have been married since April 3, 2015. On May 16, 2016, the couple gave birth to their daughter Gracia. Both of them are pretty active on their social media platforms and keep posting from time to time.

Raina last played competitive cricket in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The left-hander plied his trade for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final of the T20 tournament against Mumbai Indians (MI) in Hyderabad. He could manage only eight runs in that game. In the entire tournament, Raina managed three scores in the 50s, but wasn’t at his very best.

But Raina is having a great time in his personal life. The birth of a new child is expected to bring in more happiness. Moreover, Gracia will have a younger brother to spend time with. Priyanka and Suresh will now have more responsibilities to raise both their kids.

He captioned the picture and wrote, “The beginning of all things – wonder, hope, possibilities and a better world! We are proud to welcome our son & Gracia’s little brother – Rio Raina. May he flows beyond boundaries, bringing peace, renewal & prosperity to everyone’s life,”

In the meantime, the cricketers wished the couple on their second child. From the likes of Aakash Chopra to Wasim Jaffer, a number of players lauded the duo. Later, even Shoaib Malik, who’s a father of a baby boy along with Sania Mirza, tweeted for them with wishes and love.
