Cricketers who are Friends Beyond Boundaries: The Indian Premier League (IPL) has crossed all the boundaries to set forth the mark of friendship. Even the difference in nationality and having played against each other at the international level, couldn’t stop some of these precious bonds to form. This league has increased the appreciation and respect in cricketers for each other. Also has given them a chance to learn and share the love for the game. Here are the 7 players in the IPL who share a special bond: 1. Kohli and Gayle: Virat kohli with Chris Gayle. (Photo Source: BCCI) The RCB guns, best hitters and same enthusiasm for celebration. These two are now best buddies, on and off the field. The short tempered Virat and the cool and funny Gayle, share a great bonding. Virat himself being a live wire admires swashbuckler Gayle, both are true entertainers and great friends. 2. Dhoni and Bravo: MS Dhoni with Dwayne Bravo CSK. Though, their manners of expressing emotions vary drastically where, Dhoni is calm, Bravo is flamboyant and wears his emotion up his sleeves. Even after being the captains of two opposing teams, IPL keeps their friendship alive. 3. Dhoni and Hussey: Michael Hussey with MS Dhoni CSK. Although being the way they are, Dhoni and Hussey are not seeing partying or roaming around, all of their bond is seen pouring out from the way they respect and praise each other in the media as well as the on field discussions and advices. 4. Gambhir delivering the duty of a captain and of a rescuing friend after Narine had issues with his bowling action. This controversy is definitely the seed for this bond. GG’s backing must have boosted Narine’s confidence and the trust he expressed towards the West Indian has won him over. 6. Rohit and Pollard: Rohit Sharma with Kieron Pollard MI.
