The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. MS Dhoni, the veteran Indian cricketer turned 39 years old on Tuesday, July 7 and on the auspicious occasion the cricketing fraternity wished him. Dhoni hasn’t played any kind of international cricket for nearly a year now, yet his fandom hasn’t gone down by any stretch of the imagination. On the special day, the cricketers didn’t forget to shower their love for him either. From Virat Kohli, Jemimah Rodrigues, Rohit Sharma, Smriti Mandhana, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav and others, a number of them told how Dhoni has contributed towards their journey.
In the meantime, Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian leg-spin bowler, uploaded a video where he can be seen, bowling in the nets. The young tweaker was happy to be back in action, having last played for India back in February during the tour of New Zealand. He has been one of India’s gun bowlers in ODI and T20I cricket over the last three years or so. Dane van Niekerk, the South Africa women’s skipper, posted a picture of his dear one, who celebrated his birthday.
Stuart Broad remembered the last time when he played for England at the highest level. It was during last year’s Ashes against Australia where the series was drawn 2-2. He is in the Three Lions’ squad for the opening Test against the West Indies, starting July 8 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. The game is set to mark the return of international cricket after a gap of nearly four months. Michael Vaughan also sounded excited about the game.

For all those
