Many overseas stars have touched base with their teams after completing Caribbean Premier League engagements. After leading Trinbago Knight Riders to victory in the final against St Lucia Zouks, Kieron Pollard and his family also joined Mumbai Indians camp in Abu Dhabi. Along with Pollard, West Indian Sherfane Rutherford has also joined the ‘Mumbai Paltan’.

Mumbai Indians also shared a picture of both the Caribbean stars upon their arrival. Defending champions MI will kick-off their IPL 2020 campaign by locking horns with Chennai Super Kings in the season-opener. All franchises are currently sweating it out in training sessions before the start of the T20 extravaganza.

Ali Khan also hogged the headlines after becoming the first cricketer from the USA to be featured in the IPL. 29-year-old Khan was roped in by Kolkata Knight Riders as a replacement for Harry Gurney.

In a first, the cash-rich league will be without the presence of spectators.
