The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around Afghanistan’s maiden Test win at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Dehradun. They defeated Ireland by seven wickets by becoming the joint second quickest country to register their first Test win along with England and Pakistan. Chasing a tricky total of 147 runs in the second innings, the hosts had lost Mohammad Shahzad early on the third day.

But Rahmat Shah and Ihsanullah Janat shared a 139-run stand for the second wicket to set up a perfect chase in the end.
