The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today, the former cricketer Nasser Hussain raised his concern over the current form of Joe Root in Test cricket. Currently, England is involved in a two-match Test series against New Zealand. In the first game, Root scored 2 and 11 runs in respective innings. It was one of the reasons behind England’s defeat by an innings and 65 runs. However, Nasser is upset with the way the skipper is playing and his body language also looks bad.
Moreover, former and current Indian cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat shared their grief for the soldiers as well as for the innocent, who lost their lives during the Mumbai Terrorist attack back in 2008. On the other hand KL Rahul, Pragyan Ojha are looking forward to watching the inspirational series that will soon be available online.
Jasprit Bumrah also started with his first practice session after recovering from his stress fracture. He also shared a still in which a stump was spotted broken by the Indian pacer. Whereas Damien Martyn also took a dig at the age of Naseem Shah that recently hogged the spotlight when he played for Pakistan against Australia.
