The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The second day’s play for the second Test took place between India and Australia at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. After two days’ play, India are, well and truly, on the driver’s seat, having already taken a lead of 82 runs. In the middle are India’s stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane and all-round cricketer Ravindra Jadeja.
Rahane managed to score a sparkling century and he would be looking to carry forward the good work on the third day as well. Jadeja has also shown a great amount of resilience as he stayed unbeaten on 40 runs. Mitchell Starc, the Aussie fast bowler, picked up 250 Test wickets as well. In the meantime, left-handed batsman David Warner posted a video where he was seen in the suit of Superman.
Kuldeep Yadav wished Nitish Rana on his birthday. Both ply their trade for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. In the meantime, South African cricketer Farhan Behardien wanted to play a T20 match at the Gabba in Brisbane. The very venue hosted the BBL match on Sunday between Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes.
