Cricketing trends in Twitter today began with wishes pouring in for former Pakistani speedster Wasim Akram. Apart from the fact that he himself couldn’t believe that he was fifty, Shane Warne, Anjum Chopra, and former Pakistan batsman Kamran Akmal sent their wishes via Twitter. It was also another birthday as Lisa Sthalekar and Alyssa Healy sent in their wishes to former Aussie women’s player Terri Russell. James Anderson took some time out of his busy schedule to meet the stars of the ‘Warrior’ film at the home of cricket, Lords.Mark Butcher shared his compilation of IPL images he had clicked during his visit to the Indian subcontinent just last month. Former Kiwi pacer enjoyed his time off as he sipped a sangria in Barcelona while Shane Warne cheered Sam Stosur on in the French Open.
