It was a day of celebration on Twitter as cricketers shared many interesting bits and pieces from their lives. Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra today enjoyed the belated celebration of his birthday. The leg-spinner, who currently part of the test squad which in Mohali for the third Test, celebrated his 34th birthday. Fun celebrations were obviously planned and the Indian team came together to smack his face with cakes and take goofy selfies.

While all these things happened here in India, Down Under in Australia, the hosts produced a satisfying performance with the bat. Usman Khawaja led the way with an unbeaten 138 runs innings. His knock was well appreciated by his peers through tweets.

Stuart Broad today met with a disheartening truth when he realised that his idol Sir Ian Botham doesn’t have breakfast. The fast bowler was having shredded wheat for so many years! Professor Dean Jones wrote a very interesting article on why Australia should be worried about Indian tour. The insightful piece, written in a typical Deano way, perfectly describes each and every factor which he has experienced playing on Indian pitches and observing the pitches here.
