The cricketing trends in Twitter today saw tweets coming from all around the cricket world. Most of the tweets encircled around the fourth and the final Test between India and Australia. Young chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav bagged 4/68 on the first-day play as Australia managed to score 300 in their first innings. Meanwhile, for the hosts, it was skipper Steve Smith who scored yet another century on the day.
It was his third ton of the series. Opener David Warner showered praise on Smith’s knock. On the other hand, it was legendary former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who tweeted his good wishes for Kuldeep. Kuldeep Yadav responded back to the tweet as well saying he will try his best to get better. Suresh Raina, Kuldeep’s teammate in Uttar Pradesh side, also congratulated the young bowler.
Steve Smith also thanked all his fans for their good wishes on the day and expects day 2 to be a big day of the match. English pacer Ryan Sidebottom posted a picture of his grumpy cat. The IPL preparations have begun and newly appointed Mumbai Indians coach Mahela Jayawardene looked up for the challenge. Yusuf Pathan congratulated Piyush Chawla after the latter was blessed with a baby boy on the day.
Australian speedster Dirk Nannes had his remarks for the unusually long cover at the Dharamsala pitch. Adam Gilchrist was in full awe for the venue too. He had his own way of expressing his admiration for the ground. Michael Clarke praised the fightback from the Indian team on the first day of the game.
